Nothing but praise for Excel Martials Arts and the team there.. We have been coming here nearly 4 years now and I cant tell you how they have helped my son develop his confidence, strength and fitness. As a parent I got so into it that I joined last year during lockdown while suffering with a back injury and will now be grading for my 4th belt. I often hear about bullying in academys . I wanted my children to become more confident and have the skills to defend their self if they have to. My boys joined Excel Martial Arts at the beginning of 2021. It was recommended to us by one of the academy Mums. They loved it straight away. The coaches are very professional, great with children. After seeing their success, I took the opportunity to join the Ladies kickboxing class , and never looked back since. I tried many exercise classes, running , gym.. but never stuck to anything. This is the first exercise what I thoroughly enjoy. My boys made lots of friends, enjoy going on Excel events like Jump Inc., Halloween and recently signed up for their first Summer camp with Excel. I would highly recommend Excel Martial Arts to everyone.

Absolutely brilliant! The coaches, reception staff, facilities, everything is just great. My little boy Axel always has tons of fun and his confidence has come on so much. I was a bit worried has he started mini strike just after his 4th birthday but the level of support and kindness to him has been absolutely unreal. Would recommend to anyone.

My 5 yr old grandson only started this week and says he loves it. Been to watch him today and the instructors and helpers are amazing with him. They are all so helpful and give lots of praise and encouragement just what young kids need. I really hope he continues. xxx

My 9 year old (Joey) started 1 week ago, the change in him in just 1 week is amazing. The whole academy feels like one big family. They support parents and the children! Joey now does the student creed every morning! 💖
academy have said that his academy work has massively improved since starting at excel. He also used to suffer with bullies but this has completely changed he is now confident and doesn’t get any major issues!

Both my son and I train at Excel. We both love it! We have fun, we learn lots, get a great work out and get to meet some lovely people along the way. The team are brilliant and the academy is such a supportive environment. We always leave with a smile on our faces.

When you work out, your heart becomes stronger – and that means that it can pump blood more efficiently than it can without exercise. The less effort your heart has to expend on pumping blood, the lower your blood pressure is.
Martial Arts Lowers Cholesterol
LDL cholesterol – the so-called “bad” cholesterol” – is a contributing factor in heart disease 1. Regular participation in martial arts helps you lose weight and that decreases the amount of LDL cholesterol in your blood.
There’s evidence that working out also shrinks the proteins that carry cholesterol through the bloodstream, making them less dangerous to the heart.
