A bit about me:

I have over 25 years of martial arts under my belt(s) when I started Shotokan Karate at 6 years old with my brothers and sister.

Most memorable martial arts moment:

Enduring 7 hours of grading with nary a single morsel of water, but giving it my all 100%.

What I love about working at Excel:

I love the community at Excel; everyone is supportive and friendly even when training at their most intense.

My advice for anyone starting on their Excel journey:

Starting out is the bravest thing you can do; never underestimate what you can teach others about their own journey, too.

My Martial Arts goal:

To continue to develop and better my martial arts and to share what I learn with others.

A random fact about me:

I travelled to Japan and blogged my experience exploring the real Kanto region, which Pokèmon Red & Blue are based on (true blue Pokèmon trainer).
