A bit about me:
I used to be a primary teacher and I’m a mother of 2 young children. Martial arts is a family hobby, with myself and both my children training at Excel.

Most memorable martial arts moment:
Watching my son lead the student creed in front of a large audience at his first graduation. He oozed confidence at only 4 years old and I was crying with pride.

What I love about working at Excel:
I can transfer my teaching ability to my love of martial arts, helping children develop in an environment that feels like a second home.

My advice for anyone starting on their Excel journey:
Don’t let any worries you have stop you from achieving your best. There’ll be times when you will feel a little unsure but trust me, with perseverance, that feeling quickly fades and is replaced by an immense pride in what you have and are achieving.

My Martial Arts goal:
To continue progressing at every stage I’m at and to share that progress with my family.

A random fact about me:
My Dad is from Malta so I’m half Maltese. If you’re thinking of a Malteser joke then I’m sorry to disappoint, but you’re definitely not the first to come up with it!
